The demand for next-gen consoles was clear well before their announcements. Since then, they’ve remained top sellers at online retailers, including the likes of Amazon. Well, until now, because there’s no more stock left.
Amazon posted the following on its Facebook wall:
After a crazy and exciting month, we’ve sold through our initial allocations of PS4 and Xbox One. Thank you to all who have ordered and shared your opinions. We have the Standard Editions for both consoles still available, but we can’t guarantee these at release. Please check back here as we’ll update you first if we receive further release day allocations.
If you didn’t manage to lock-in a pre-order there are other retailers that still have stock including Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. Given current trends, including the PS4 being sold out at GameStop, those may sell out quicker than you know it so grab one before it’s too late!
As a side note, the PS4 has sold out once again despite Sony stating that there is “unlimited” supply. Unlimited? Really?
