You could’ve been forgiven for thinking that everyone involved with the awful Aliens: Colonial Marines would want to wash their hands of it, but today news has surfaced that Gearbox’s disappointing shooter will be getting a new campaign chapter, titled Statis Interrupted.
Although it has yet to be officially announced, a list of the PlayStation 3 trophies for Statis Interrupted has been leaked by PS3Trophies.org, which indicate that it will be the first single-player expansion for the title. The sadists among you who own a Season Pass for Aliens: Colonial Marines will get the DLC for free, while its pricing and release date have yet to be announced.
The game was released earlier this year to huge critical and fan backlash, with a planned Wii U release of the title canned due to the overwhelmingly negative response it had received.
