Following Hulu’s release date window announcement, Solar Opposites will conclude with Season 6, premiering this fall. Solar Opposites Season 6 to arrive on Hulu this fall

Hulu previously confirmed a sixth season of Solar Opposites but had not revealed it would be the final one (via Variety). The platform has now announced that Solar Opposites will end with its sixth season, with a release date window set for the fall. A specific release date has not yet been revealed.

The official description for Season 6 partly reads, “Witness the wild chaos of this unhinged alien family as they get into hilarious mischief, all while the final chapter of an epic drama unfolds for the shrunken people they’ve imprisoned in their Wall” (via Deadline).

The series follows four aliens—Korvo, Terry, Jesse, and Yumyulack—who remain divided on their opinion of Earth. Korvo (Dan Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) see human civilization as flawed, while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) embrace it.

The final season features guest stars Tiffany Haddish, Kieran Culkin, Christina Hendricks, Ken Marino, Alfred Molina, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Beck Bennett. Mike McMahan, Josh Bycel, and Sydney Ryan executive produce the series, while 20th Television Animation handles production.

Dan Stevens replaced co-creator Justin Roiland as the voice of Korvo in Season 4 after Hulu removed Roiland from the show following domestic violence allegations (via Variety). The Orange County District Attorney’s Office later dismissed the charges due to insufficient evidence.

Hulu’s other adult animation content includes new episodes of Futurama and an upcoming revival of King of the Hill. The streaming platform also features live-action comedies such as Deli Boys and Mid-Century Modern, starring Nathan Lane and Matt Bomer. Only Murders in the Building is also set to return for its fifth season.
