Paradise Season 2 & 3 Teased by Actor Sterling K. Brown

Paradise star Sterling K. Brown hinted at the show’s plans for Seasons 2 and 3 in a recent interview. Season 1 of the series came to a close after Episode 8 began streaming on March 4, 2025, but Hulu green-lit a sophomore season of the series last month.

Dan Fogelman has a three-season plan for Paradise, says Sterling K. Brown

Sterling K. Brown, who portrays the lead Secret Service agent Xavier Collins in Paradise, recently spoke about series creator Dan Fogelman’s plans for Seasons 2 and 3. Brown and Fogelman previously worked together on the family drama This Is Us, which aired on NBC for six seasons between 2016 and 2022.

While speaking to TV Insider, Brown disclosed that “big twists” were coming and that Fogelman had conceived Paradise as a three-season series. The actor continued, “He’s like, ‘I’ve got three seasons in my head,’ and one thing I’ve learned is when Dan says, ‘I’ve got three seasons,’ he means, ‘I’ve got three seasons.’”

Fogelman’s decision to limit his new show to three seasons was initially reported in January 2025. In his interview with TV Insider, Brown recalled that on This Is Us, Fogelman had plans for six seasons, and they ended up making exactly that many chapters of the series.

Brown went on to provide details about what viewers can expect from the series in the future. “We know what the billionaires and the people of power did. They built a city, right? Then we found out in [Episode 4] that there’s still breathable air,” he said. “You see in [Episode 7] that the nukes did not go off, that there’s still life as we know it but maybe very different because the natural disaster still transpired.”

The actor continued, “So I think in Season 2, the idea is to explore what happened to the rest of the world, what does that look like?”

The release date for Paradise Season 2 hasn’t been officially announced. However, Fogelman seemingly indicated that it might come out in 2026.
