Marvel Studios is reportedly considering Robert Pattinson for a major role in the MCU. Robert Pattinson could join the MCU after The Batman
@MyTimeToShineHello shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Marvel Studios is interested in Robert Pattinson for a big role in the MCU.” However, neither Marvel Studios nor Pattinson has confirmed the report.
A previous rumor from November 2024, first shared by insider Daniel Richtman, claimed that Pattinson had met with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige regarding a potential role. Richtman stated on his Patreon, “Pattinson met with Feige and this possibly could have been to talk about an MCU role.” Neither party has made an official statement.
Richtman also reported that Marvel was casting a “secret role” for Avengers: Doomsday, with the character expected to have a significant role in Avengers: Secret Wars. Fans have speculated that Pattinson could portray The Beyonder, though there is no confirmation linking him to the role.
Meanwhile, Pattinson is expected to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in The Batman – Part II. At the Mickey 17 premiere, he told ExtraTV, “Matt is a very careful writer. But I finally now know what it’s about. It’s very cool and I’m very excited.” The film is scheduled for release on October 1, 2027.
Reports indicate Pattinson is also attached to Christopher Nolan’s next project and several other films. With these commitments, any potential MCU involvement may not occur soon. Avengers: Doomsday is set for May 1, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars for May 7, 2027. Both films are directed by the Russo brothers, who stated, “We’re thrilled to collaborate once again with Kevin, Lou, and the entire Marvel team.”
