Virgin River Season 7 Star Teases Release Date for New Episodes

Following the release of Virgin River Season 6, actor Benjamin Hollingsworth, who portrays Dan Brady on the show, has teased the release date of Season 7. Based on Robyn Carr’s series of romantic novels of the same name, the long-running show made its small-screen debut in December 2019. Since then, Virgin River has spawned five more seasons, with the latest one premiering on Netflix in December 2024.

With Season 6 leaving several character arcs unresolved, fans are already eagerly awaiting the next installment. In a recent discussion, Hollingsworth shared his thoughts on the most recent season and when the release date of Virgin River Season 7 could be.

Benjamin Hollingsworth on when Virgin River Season 7 will come out

According to Benjamin Hollingsworth, Season 7 of Virgin River should premiere sometime during the holiday season this year.

While talking to USA Today, Hollingsworth remarked that he expects Virgin River Season 7 to follow a similar production timeline as its predecessor and begin filming in the spring and summer. “I’m hoping (producers) will do the same kind of thing over Christmas. I think it’s great watch over Christmas holidays,” the actor stated.

In addition to talking about the potential release date of Virgin River Season 7, Hollingsworth also spoke about the course he wants his character to follow. Hollingsworth seems to be in favor of Brady going down the path of revenge after Elise Gatien’s Lark conned him by usurping his money. However, the actor also wants Brady to explore his relationships with other characters on the show, including Virgin River Fire Chief Kaia and his professional senior, Doc Vernon Mullins. “I think (it would be) really cool to have Doc and Brady have some time together,” he said.

While Virgin River has already been renewed for Season 7, the upcoming season has yet to receive an official release date from its creators.
