Underwood established a career in music after winning “American Idol” in 2005. Previously, she performed a medley of her timeless hits at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. The event was co-hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Rita Ora to kick off the year and included performances by Kesha and the Jonas Brothers.

Other performers include country singer and saxophonist Lee Greenwood and opera singer Christopher Macchio. Both are reportedly the president-elect’s favorites.
