Watching a Rocket Launch at SpaceX with Elon Musk!

Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, documented watching SpaceX’s sixth flight test of Starship in her latest vlog. It starts with the 17-year-old traveling to the SpaceX facility in Brownsville, Texas, via the president-elect’s private jet. Kai was joined by her friend, Emma Markin, to watch the event. The two also recorded a TikTok video of them doing the iconic YMCA dance.

Upon reaching the facility, Kai spoke with Bryson DeChambeau, a professional golfer. He joked he would “design a rocket ship golf club with boosters on the back.” DeChambeau said he would do it for Kai, who is also a golfer, so she can increase her “swing speed.” The vlog continued to share a peek at Elon Musk explaining the spacecraft’s making and structure to Donald Trump and the other attendees.

Following the successful launch, Musk shared with Trump, “It only comes back to land if everything is, like, super green.” The SpaceX CEO added they had concerns about the tower so it was commanded to land out to sea. After calling it “amazing,” Trump continued to ask Musk if they could use the spacecraft again and “get it from the sea.” The tech mogul explained that it would probably blow up. However, Musk said it was fine, adding, “We actually have better versions that are in production in those factories over there.” He also revealed that they already have the next one, which he shared is “better.”

Later, Kai said, “I’ve never seen something like that, and the noise of it, like, when it was going up — insane.” She also shared she asked her grandpa if he would go in it and he replied, “No.” Kai added, “He would not volunteer going in the spaceship but it’s okay.”
