Bill Clinton gushes over Taylor Swift’s Era Tour concert after attending one with family
Bill Clinton appeared on a new segment of the “LIVE with Kelly and Mark” show to promote his memoir, “Citizen: My Life After the White House.” The former president also got candid about attending Taylor Swift’s concert over the weekend. In fact, the chat show showed one of the videos Clinton filmed at the singer’s recent gig.
He shared he had never been to one of her concerts before. Bill Clinton recalled there was a huge crowd of around 50,000 people at Taylor Swift’s concert. He stated that the singer is “not like a lot of people who do concerts.” Clinton explained, “She did three hours plus straight. I mean straight through she just kept on singing the songs and kept on doing it.” The former politician noted that it was a “very respectful thing to do for the audience.”
Clinton further said, “I was fascinated watching, you know, our crowd of kids.” He shared that his granddaughter was standing there with some other friends and the group was up there singing. Moreover, Clinton said they “knew the words” to all of Swift’s songs.
