Speaking to host Jimmy Fallon on the late-night show, Gwyneth Paltrow recalled that her photographed kiss scene with Timothee Chalamet for “Marty Supreme” made it to her mom group chats. The host showed the viral photo to the audience where the two actors share a kiss in front of the cameras. Fallon asked the Goop founder if she had received any messages after the incident.

Paltrow said, “Yes. It’s just like you’re trying to have this scene and then, you know, it’s a private moment and then there are paparazzi, and then, it was like all my mom group texts were on fire.” The host also showed another picture of the “Marty Supreme” co-actors in a scene when she revealed how she agreed to star in the movie.

The actor recalled that it was her brother, Jake Paltrow, who advised her to take up the film project. Paltrow admitted that the offer came at a time when she was busy with her business. Meanwhile, she said that her daughter, Apple, was also one of the influences behind her decision to star in the film. When Apple found out that Chalamet was starring in the movie, it pretty much “sealed the deal.”

According to PEOPLE, Gwyneth Paltrow previously revealed her husband Brad Falchuk’s reaction to the kissing scene. Replying to one of her followers on her Instagram stories, she said that he was “unthreatened.” She continued, “Not because T.Chal isn’t AWESOME, but he knows he’s got my whole [heart].”

“Marty Supreme” is an upcoming sports drama film about a table tennis star from the 1950s. More details on the movie are yet to be announced.
