The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson match, which took place on November 15, was livestreamed globally by Netflix. The match ended with Paul achieving victory by defeating the boxing legend. On “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the show’s host mentioned the boxing match, but with his humourous twist. He explained how the event is still a hot topic among fans who saw, Paul beat Tyson on Friday night. He then spoke about viewers’ reactions saying that “[The match] was described by most fans as ‘underwhelming’ and ‘sad.'”

Jimmy Fallon further went on to call the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight “uneventful.” He remarked, “Forget the boxers. The real champs were the viewers who went the distance.” He also brought up how viewers faced streaming issues while watching the match live on Netflix. The talk show host revealed, “A lot of people watching said the Netflix livestream kept buffering and glitching.” He added, “Yeah, it was a frustrating night. Every time the picture froze, people yelled, ‘This sucks!’ and then the picture unfroze and people yelled, ‘This sucks too!'”

Fallon then welcomed Steve Holden, a spokesperson for Netflix, via satellite to explain the reason behind the buffering and glitching issues during the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing match livestream. In a pre-planned skit, both their screens began to freeze and buffer frequently to emphasize the issue.
