The singer successfully essayed her role as the host and musical guest in the latest episode of the sketch comedy show. After her appearance, the star took to Instagram to share fun backstage photos of her stint. She even gave a glimpse of the outfit she wore for her monologue and some behind-the-scenes of her sketches and afterparty with friends. The artist starred in nine sketches on SNL on November 16.

After a successful SNL debut as the host and musical guest, Charli XCX posted an update with her fans about the fun she had while shooting the episode. She gave a glimpse of her monologue outfit — a feathered black Dilara Findikoglu gown with a deep plunging neckline and off-the-shoulder straps. The singer also shared a picture with Andy Samberg from their sketch “Here I Go.”
Charli XCX makes an appearance in the aforementioned sketch, which is led by Samberg. The musical short saw the latter play a neighborhood tattletale, with with singer playing his wife. Meanwhile, she also shared her look from another sketch where she played her tourmate Troye Sivan. The musical guest and host shared a picture of the wig she donned to essay this role.
The singer further shared pictures of partying with friends after her debut on the comedy sketch show. These include Julia Fox, Richie Shazam, Bowen Yang, and others. She posted a selfie as the final picture in the recap carousel, smiling widely while looking back on a fun SNL experience.
Meanwhile, for her SNL debut, Charli XCX performed “Brat” album songs, including “360” and “Sympathy is a Knife.” She also nailed an impression of Adele and participated in a sketch that featured a group cover of Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO!”
