Here’s the Real Reason Kamala Harris Snubbed Joe Rogan According to a Campaign Staffer

Kamala Harris snubbed Joe Rogan when he invited her to his podcast, and we may finally know why. According to a campaign staffer, Harris may have feared an adverse reaction if she agreed to be on the Joe Rogan Experience. Given her extreme unpopularity among young men, many are pointing to this decision as one that contributed to her loss.

Kamala Harris allegedly feared progressive backlash if she appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience

We previously reported that Kamala Harris was in talks about appearing on the Joe Rogan Experience. It’s the most popular podcast in the world, and it would have been a great way to address the demographic she polled worst with: young men. However, the potential interview quickly fell apart when her campaign responded to Joe Rogan’s invitation with a list of caveats he refused to accept.

The Harris campaign responded to Rogan’s invitation by stating he would have to come to her and that she would only allow a single hour for the interview instead of the standard three his guests usually give. At first, it appeared this was because the presidential candidate had a busy schedule. However, new information indicates that these stipulations might have been invented to cause Rogan to turn Harris down so she could save face.

According to Financial Times, Jennifer Palmieri, a senior advisor to Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff during the campaign gave some behind-the-scenes insight on why Harris skipped the JRE interview. Palmieri alleges, “There was a backlash with some of our progressive staff that didn’t want her to be on it, and how there would be a backlash.”

Democrats are looking for someone or something to blame for Harris’s devastating election loss. In a reversal of the 2020 results, what was supposed to be a close race turned into a Democrat rout, which cost them the Senate, House, and Presidency. Some pundits point to decisions like skipping the JRE interview as part of why Harris lost.
