Krispy Kreme is doing its part on World Kindness Day, which falls on November 13. The bakery chain is generously offering free doughnuts to the first 500 customers in stores or drive-thru locations across the country. This addictive offer only adds to the previously interesting initiatives by the food chain. For this specific offer, customers just have to walk into a participating store in the U.S. and wish they are one among the 500 guests to receive the free doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme will be giving free doughnuts by the dozen on World Kindness Day
Doughnut lovers can head to Krispy Kreme on Wednesday to enjoy the World Kindness Day offer. The bakery chain is giving away free doughnuts by the dozen to its customers on this special occasion. The offer is specific to the Original Glazed doughnuts, which will be given to its first 500 customers in the stores or drive-thru at each participating location across the country. A customer doesn’t necessarily need to make a purchase to get the sweet treat for free.
According to USA Today, Krispy Kreme talked about the latest offer in a press release. The food chain hopes World Kindness Day will enable people to make a “positive impact.” Dave Skena, the Global Chief Brand Officer of Krispy Kreme, continued, “We hope that each dozen Original Glazed doughnuts we give away enables and inspires many dozens of small acts of kindness.”
This isn’t the first time that the bakery chain has introduced a bountiful initiative. On Random Acts of Kindness Day (February 17), the food chain offered free Original Glazed doughnuts. Meanwhile, it recently honored the veterans on Veterans Day (November 11) by offering them free doughnuts and coffee.
The World Kindness Day offer comes after Krispy Kreme launched its Thanksgiving-themed collection last week. The Thanksgiving desserts feature four doughnuts inspired by favorite holiday desserts, including Chocolate Silk Pie Doughnut, Lemon Creme Pie Doughnut, Blueberry Crisp Doughnut, and Apple Crumble Doughnut.
