Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai, admiringly congratulated him after his victory over Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. Kai Trump, the president-elect‘s eldest grandchild, shared two posts on her Instagram, one to show her love for her grandpa and the second to congratulate him.
Kai is the daughter of Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump. The teenager is also a district-level golfing champion who believes the “future gonna be fantastic” as her grandfather prepares to take office for a second term.
Kai on Donald Trump’s win: ‘No one cares more about the American people’
Donald Trump‘s eldest granddaughter, Kai, shared a compassionate message while congratulating the president-elect after he defeated Harris. Kai Trump posted a series of photos on her Instagram from Wednesday’s celebratory event, posing alongside the Republican politician and the rest of their family. She wore an embellished little black dress and gold jewelry to mark her grandpa’s special victory. The 17-year-old lovingly wrote in the caption, “No one works harder or cares more about the American people. Congratulations Grandpa, I love you!”
In one photo, Donald Trump appeared ecstatic posing side by side with his granddaughter Kai, who looked nothing short of glamorous. She then posted the same photo on her official X (former Twitter) with a similar caption. Kai also added an additional remark, declaring the “future gonna be fantastic.”
Kai Trump’s parents, Donald Trump Jr. and Venessa Trump, were also present at the event. Other photos show the president-elect standing tall, proud, and smiling amid his young grandchildren, family members, and supporter Elon Musk.
Donald Trump’s granddaughter also shared another Instagram dump ahead of the election results. The post comprised photos of the two from previous golfing trips, given their mutual penchant for the sport, and other official events.
According to the New York Post, Kai Trump also spoke at the Republican National Convention, sharing details about her close relationship with the president-elect. She stated that there is another side of “[her] grandpa that people don’t often see.” Kai added, “Even when he’s going through all these court cases, he always asks me how I’m doing.”
Trump’s eldest granddaughter also recently announced that she will be attending the University of Miami.
