Polling stations are already open in states across the United States, with most opening their doors from 6 to 8 AM local time. That said, the closing time for polling booths vary wildly depending on the state and the exact local polling station closest to you.

However, it may take hours before there are enough votes counted in a state for its electoral college votes to be issued for Kamala Harris or Donald Trump. Still, with a race this close, this is when we’ll know the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.
