50 Cent has claimed that he rejected a $3 million offer to perform at Donald Trump‘s rally on Sunday at Madison Square Garden. During Tuesday’s “The Breakfast Club” radio program interview, host DJ Envy asked the rapper if Trump had offered him endorsement money. 50 Cent confirmed the statement, adding that he “got a call, but they wanted me [for] Sunday.” However, an insider for Donald Trump has since refuted the record executive’s claims.

During a segment of “The Breakfast Club” radio program, 50 Cent addressed reports alleging that Donald Trump offered him a hefty sum to perform at his rally. He spilled the beans in front of co-hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne tha God, and Jess Hilarious claiming he turned down the offer. Envy initially asked 50 Cent if the former president had offered him money to endorse him which the rapper confirmed. He then mentioned being contacted, “but they wanted me [for] Sunday.”
Once the subject came up, Charlamagne tha God promptly asked 50 Cent if Trump asked him to perform “Many Men” at the Republican National Convention earlier this year. He responded, “They offered me $3 million” before clarifying that it was for “this past Sunday.”
Later, 50 Cent mentioned that Donald Trump’s campaign had offered him money for the RNC too. He further said, “I didn’t even go far… I didn’t talk to them about that kinda stuff. I’m afraid about politics.” Emphasizing his statement, he added, “You understand? I do not like no part about them. No gangbang, no politics!” 50 Cent further elaborated, “It’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you.”
However, an insider from Donald Trump’s campaign stated to The New York Post, “At no point was he [50 Cent] offered money to appear at the rally.” The individual reportedly had inside information about the talks between the campaign representatives and the rapper’s management team.
