Taylor Swift is full of praise for her friend Sabrina Carpenter, who joined her for a duet during her Eras Tour in New Orleans. Swift took to Instagram to express her gratitude to the “Espresso” singer for taking time out of her busy “Short n’ Sweet” tour schedule for their duet. She commended her fellow pop artist’s commitment to go the extra mile for her fans. The musician also reflected on her three-night New Orleans Eras Tour over the past weekend by including some snaps from the concert nights.

On Tuesday, Taylor Swift shared a thank you note for Sabrina Carpenter while looking back on her New Orleans Eras Tour. Over the weekend, the pop star surprised her fans by inviting Carpenter on stage for a surprise duet. The duo then performed a mashup of their songs, marking a viral moment. Calling Carpenter “the pop princess of our dreams,” Swift revealed in her Instagram post that she will always remember the moment.

Adding a side note, the “Fortnight” singer disclosed that Carpenter only had a day off from her “exhaustive” tour schedule. She also conveyed her respect for the “Juno” singer for choosing to join her on stage instead of taking a break. Swift said, “She does things like this, goes out of her way to give fans a surprise moment they didn’t expect.” The pop artist ended her note by expressing her gratitude for Carpenter and sharing her New Orleans Eras Tour experience. 

On October 26, Taylor Swift surprised her fans by singing the first verse of “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter. The singer paused before asking the cheering crowd if she could give Carpenter a call, further applauding the latter’s astounding success this year. Upon Swift’s request to join her, the 25-year-old singer said she could make it on stage in “five seconds.”

As promised, Sabrina Carpenter joined the Eras Tour artist on stage. Together, they sang “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Is It Over Now?” This moment instantly became viral among fans, who shared their delight at their two favorite artists on stage together.

Taylor Swift will next perform at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium for a three-night concert from November 1 to 3.
