However, Lizzo shut down the allegations and continued to flaunt her transformation. Now, she is clapping back at the trolls with her “LizzOzempic” Halloween costume.
The 36-year-old’s creative ensemble comes in response to a “South Park” episode that parodied her earlier this year. The Ozempic special of the comedy show, “The End of Obesity,” referenced her as a fictional weight loss drug named “Lizzo.” After the episode garnered attention, the rapper also shared her reaction to the “South Park” reference on TikTok. In the video, Lizzo promised she would keep on showing “how to not give a f***.”

Lizzo recently shared a series of posts on Instagram as she dressed up as the weight-loss drug-inspired costume for this year’s Halloween. She wore an FDA-approved box named “Lizzo.” The label further included quirky taglines such as “Diet Suppressor,” “For Single Patient Use Only,” and “Contains Lizzo photobook and discography, Product Instructions.” The ensemble also included a yellow measuring tape cinched at the waist.
One of the Instagram posts featured a poster-like photo that read, “Need self love? Try Lizzo!” It also added, “Lose guilt. gain confidence.” The picture also listed the side effects, which included “A smile on your face and a pep in your step.”
Aside from these posts, Lizzo shared a reel and added the “Lizzo” advertisement as the sound from her “South Park” parody. The background set-up also featured the comedy show’s fictional character, Eric Cartman. The singer continued to share the “LizzOzempic dump” and posed holding a pizza slice. Furthermore, she twerked next to someone in an inflatable Eric Cartman costume in another Instagram reel.
Meanwhile, several fans praised Lizzo’s iconic Halloween costume, with one user commenting, “Most iconic clap back of 2024. Go ahead and COOK sis.” The rapper-singer’s Halloween look is undeniably one for the books.
