According to InStyle’s report, the incident took place just before the singer was to present her stylist, Katie Qian, with one of the awards. In a video shared by the outlet, the duo walked hand in hand ahead of the ceremony when Cabello’s leg got stuck between the slit in her gown. Fortunately, she narrowly saved the dress from slipping off of her before exiting the scene.

Camila Cabello’s attendance at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards was not without its drama. Ahead of honoring her stylist Katie Qian, the singer was almost about to experience a wardrobe malfunction. Nevertheless, her composure helped her prevent it. In the video, Cabello staged a fake makeout session with the elevator guard and pushed him inside before proceeding to look for someone.
Eventually, her stylist emerged from the other end and the two held hands to walk out of the elevator together. While that happened, Camila Cabello’s leg, particularly her footwear, got stuck in the gown. As she walked ahead, her dress almost slipped but she managed to catch it on time. The singer even mentioned the incident in her award speech for Qian. She said, “Katie very calmly, true to form, put it back together while being honored for her award.”
Camila Cabello wore a pink floral print gown, featuring a plunging square neckline and a thigh-high slit. The ensemble had a wrap-around feel, with the singer pairing it with a white fur stole. She opted for pink pointed heels and natural glowy makeup, leaving her long black tresses open with a little side fringe. Furthermore, the artist reunited with Lana Del Rey on the event’s red carpet. This came after the two performed at Coachella in April this year.
