She wrote over the photo, “Even my skin is over me rn (right now).” Gomez looked beautiful despite her complaint about the two pimples on her chin. The actor also sported glittery pink eyeshadow and clear glossy lips. Gomez wore her brunette bob down while the selfie also featured someone’s hand in the background, appearing to be styling her hair.
Gomez’s new Instagram story came after she walked the black carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Emilia Perez. She looked flawless in an all-black ensemble as she wore an off-the-shoulder gown. The dramatic look was further accentuated as the dress also featured a train and a pair of black gloves. At the event, Gomez was joined by her co-stars — Zoe Saldana, Édgar Ramírez, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Adriana Paz.
Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Gomez revealed she was asked to “go crazy” during the audition for her role. The actor-singer shared, “I was standing on furniture, and I blacked out.” Gomez continued, “I was just singing my heart out and dancing like a mad woman — I guess a drunk mad woman.” The star then noted it was a “very crazy experience” for her. However, Gomez said she was “honored” when the director, Jacques Audiard, recruited her for the role.
