Barrymore has recently introduced audiences and fans to a special “Bare is Beautiful” edition of the show. In this edition, before welcoming Anderson to sit for an interview, Barrymore and Valerie Bertinelli, a regular on the show, removed their makeup using micellar water in front of all their audience members. Another big highlight of this edition was that the audience also participated in this no-makeup movement by coming to the show with their beautiful bare faces.

She expressed that she has been feeling great after taking this stand. Anderson said, “this is the best time in my life.” She continued, “I feel so empowered and so free and so excited about life again.”
