Kristin Cavallari is reflecting on her marriage and divorce with ex-husband Jay Cutler. In a new episode of her podcast “Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari,” the “Laguna Beach” alum spoke about the former couple’s 2020 split and where they stand now. Cavallari revealed how her heart was “broken for years” during her marriage with Cutler.
Cavallari and Cutler began dating in 2010 and tied the knot three years later. However, they confirmed their split in April 2020.

Kristin Cavallari started the podcast by mentioning that the episode was recorded before a “public incident” took place with her ex-husband, Jay Cutler. The former NFL quarterback was arrested on October 17 on charges of DUI and gun possession. While the “Laguna Beach” star said she wouldn’t be commenting on the incident, she wished Cutler “nothing but the best” and that “he gets the help that he needs.”
Delving deep into the topic of heartbreak, Kristin Cavallari addressed her divorce from her ex-husband, Jay Cutler. She confessed that her heart broke in her marriage. The media personality noted that even though she was “the one that walked away” from the marriage, it wasn’t what she had “envisioned.” She further expressed doing her best to save the relationship.
Cavallari noted that it was “heartbreaking” for her to have wanted the relationship desperately but ultimately not get there. She continued, “And I would say my heart was broken for years in my marriage… I mean it was.” However, the former reality star maintained that she wasn’t talking ill of her husband. While she acknowledged speaking about this topic publicly in the past, she mentioned not repeating the same now.
Kristin Cavallari confessed that she and Jay Cutler are currently in the “best place,” but it took four years. She revealed that the former couple even recently sat together at their 12-year-old son Camden’s basketball game. She said it made her happy as she didn’t think a day like this would come. The two also share a 10-year-old son, Jaxon, and an 8-year-old daughter, Saylor. Cavallari further assured listeners that if she and Cutler could get where they are right now then anybody could “get there” as well.
