Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen will appear in a series of Kamala Harris rallies over the next few weeks before the 2024 presidential election ends. This series of “When We Vote, We Win” concerts, revealed by a senior campaign official for the Harris-Walz campaign, will begin on Thursday, October 24. ‘The Boss’ will be appearing alongside both Harris and former President Barack Obama throughout the tour. Here’s what we know so far about the Bruce Springsteen Kamala Harris concerts.
When and where will Bruce Springsteen Kamala Harris concerts happen?
The first Bruce Springsteen concert supporting Kamala Harris will occur on October 24 in Atlanta, Georgia. The second concert will be held on October 28 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
While Harris and Obama are expected to appear during the first concert, Harris is not planned to be at the second.
While there is no official announcement on the rest of Bruce Springsteen’s schedule for the “When We Vote, We In” tour, the series is meant to take place in the seven major swing states. This means that additional shows will likely be planned for Nevada, Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan, and North Carolina. The general presidential election will take place on November 5, so it’s expected that any more concerts for the tour will be held before then.
Springsteen shared his public support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz earlier in October on Instagram. Speaking in a New Jersey diner, he said that Harris and Walz have “a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone,” whereas Trump “doesn’t understand the meaning of this country, its history, or what it means to be deeply American.” In a reply, Walz commented that he was “lifelong fan” of Springsteen and said he “couldn’t be more honored to have [his] support.”
Taylor Swift has also publicly endorsed Kamala Harris, signing her message as “Childless Cat Lady” in a jab against JD Vance.
