Cardi B has called out a prank caller who allegedly reported her for child abuse and sent Child Protective Services (CPS) to her home while her kids were sleeping. Last month, the rapper welcomed her third child with her estranged husband, Offset. Amid the former couple’s divorce proceedings, Cardi has kept herself occupied as she continues to attend star-studded events. However, the 32-year-old’s recent Instagram Live sparked concerns as she addressed the prank call from a hospital bed.
Cardi B claims prank caller sent CPS to home when her kids were sleeping
Cardi B went live on Instagram to address the prank-calling incident that had CPS arriving at her mansion. As per Page Six, the rapper said she “can’t even breathe right now” as she called out the person who made the call. Cardi continued to state they had taken it too far by involving her kids. The mom of three noted she is going to get to the “bottom of it.”
The “WAP” hitmaker said that CPS arrived at her gated mansion at 11 p.m. while her children were sleeping. The anonymous caller allegedly reported that her kids were “getting abused and beaten.” Further in the Instagram Live, Cardi clarified that she “never hit” her kids.
After sharing that her family is the “only colored people” in the neighborhood, Cardi continued to bash the anonymous caller for making a prank involving her children. The rapper also promised to “sue CPS” for coming to her house at the late hour. A furious Cardi B noted, “This is when the pranks start getting too far.”
The rapper claimed she would also take legal action against the person who made the prank call. She vowed to “hire the best private investigator” in the U.S. and noted, “Y’all take joking and y’all take s— a little too far.” Later, Cardi also threatened to “beat up” the prankster. She forewarned, “If you’re a boy, my baby father [Offset] is gonna beat you the f— up.” Cardi added, “If you’re a woman, me and Hennessy are gonna beat you the f— up because you playing with my motherf—ing kids.”
