Taylor Swift Narrowly Escaped Wardrobe Malfunction at Eras Tour

Taylor Swift recently faced an issue with her dress on stage, narrowly escaping a wardrobe malfunction during her Eras Tour show in Miami. Swift was performing one of her famous tracks from “The Tortured Poets Department” when she began struggling with the zipper of her Vivienne Westwood gown. The malfunction was with her microphone pack, but the backup dancers promptly came to her rescue. A viral video shows two dancers helping her unzip the outfit and fixing the problem so she could continue her performance on the stage.

A video shows the moment Taylor Swift almost avoided a wardrobe malfunction on stage during her Eras Tour performance in Miami on October 18. Swift was sporting her iconic Vivienne Westwood gown and performing “But Daddy I Love Him” from the “The Tortured Poets Department.” The clip shows the singer struggling with her zipper mid-performance for a moment and eventually asking the backup dancers for help.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour backup dancers saved her Miami show graciously during what initially appeared to be a wardrobe malfunction. However, a viral TikTok video claimed that it was her microphone pack that malfunctioned on stage. The video shows the 34-year-old trying to touch the back of her custom-made gown during the performance. Two dancers eventually came to her rescue by unzipping the dress and zipping it up for her to carry on with the show. Moreover, she acknowledged the help received and said, “Thanks guys,” into the microphone.

As for her dress, Taylor Swift only wears the Vivienne Westwood ensemble during the “The Tortured Poets Department” segment of her Eras Tour. At the center of the outfit is a sleeveless gown that is short in the front with an almost floor-length back. The dress has “Fortnight” lyrics written all over it in a cursive font. The Grammy winner also debuted a new look at the first show of the last leg of the Eras Tour. She wore a one-legged suit with snake prints, hinting at a potential “Reputation (Taylor’s Version).” After all, she is popular for her easter eggs, and this could very well be one of them.
