After Liam Payne’s Death, Zayn Malik’s Sister Blasts ‘Cruel Comments’

Zayn Malik’s sister, Doniya Malik, took to her Instagram Stories to blast “cruel comments” made about Liam Payne following his tragic death. Payne passed away earlier this week, on October 16, after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The internet has since witnessed an outpour of tributes, including those from the deceased’s former One Direction bandmates and their families. In addition, Malik’s sister Doniya, after her “heartbroken” tribute to Liam Payne, posted a second story, calling out commenters for their harsh remarks.

Zayn Malik‘s sister sent the online community “a reminder to always be kind,” while sharing an emotional montage of Liam Payne’s videos after his tragic death. Doniya Malik wrote, “You never know what a person is truly going through… always think before you write cruel comments online.”

The montage tribute that Zayn Malik’s sister posted on her story comprised multiple videos of Liam Payne addressing his struggles, his “rock bottom,” and “loneliness.” In one clip, he talked about the “manic things” in his life, adding, “I would lose my sobriety within these moments that were super low.” Payne claimed how things can “really get to you” once they start “piling on top of each other.” He also called himself “lucky to be here” given certain circumstances.

Before calling out “cruel” commenters, Malik’s sisters Doniya and Waliyha posted separate stories, claiming they were “heartbroken,” as reported by The Express Tribune. Moreover, Payne’s former One Direction bandmates have each shared a touching tribute to their fallen “brother.” They released a joint statement via the official 1D Instagram account. Their families have also mourned the loss.

Liam Payne was 31 and a father of one at the time of his death. He first rose to fame in 2010 alongside Zayn Malin, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson, as part of One Direction. The record-breaking boy band broke up in 2016 and after, they each started pursuing separate careers.
