Liam Payne Shared Video of ‘Lovely Day’ on Snapchat Hours Before Death

Former One Direction star Liam Payne‘s Snapchat account posted videos of him enjoying a “lovely day in Argentina” hours before his death in a Buenos Aires hotel. Police released a statement revealing that Payne died after falling from one of the hotel’s third-floor balconies. An emergency team found him in an interior courtyard while responding to a call. The BBC reported that officials claimed they were responding to a call “of an aggressive man who may have been under the effects of drugs and alcohol.”

Since Payne’s death, the since-deleted Snapchat videos, seemingly the last few clips his social media accounts posted, and photos have surfaced online. Payne’s account was actively posting on the messaging app in the hours leading up to his death. It remains unclear whether these posts were taken on Wednesday, the day he died. The singer was 31 and is survived by his son, Bear Grey Payne.

Liam Payne shared a video of him having a good time in Argentina

On Snapchat, Liam Payne’s account shared multiple videos of him and his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, having a good time in Argentina. As per the New York Post, he uploaded a shirtless mirror selfie with Cassidy and a video with the caption, “Lovely day in Argentina.” In the short clip, Payne and his girlfriend sat at the breakfast table and spoke about “enjoying coffee and breakfast” at 1 p.m. Payne’s account later added a second video discussing his plans for the day, which included riding horses and playing Polo.

In one of the videos, Liam Payne mentioned that he and Kate Cassidy were “enjoying” their time in Argentina. The 31-year-old also shared photos, including one in which he and Cassidy made funny faces at the camera. Then, Payne sat on a chair, wearing a baseball cap and a goofy expression, with his knees together and looked away from the camera in one more photo, which is believed to be his last on social media. The caption read, “Halloween costume idea: forest gump,” which is a reference to the Tom Hanks’ 1994 movie of the same name.

Liam Payne rose to fame as part of One Direction along with Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan. The members had individually appeared on “X Factor” in 2010, where they formed the band. Malik was the first to quit in 2015, and the following year, the group broke up.
