Shawn Mendes Goes Shirtless for Fun Interview Magazine Cover

Shawn Mendes recently ditched his shirt for a sizzling cover photo shoot with Interview Magazine. The singer-songwriter thanked the outlet and the stylist for allowing him to “have fun” and “not care too much” while posing for the photos. Mendes could be seen in various looks for the shoot, including cozy casual, a sharp corporate look, and fall-themed fits with a muted color palette.

On October 14, Shawn Mendes took to Instagram to thank Interview Magazine and Mel Ottenberg, the outlet’s editor-in-chief. Ottenberg also served as the stylist for the photo shoot. For the cover shoot, Alyssa Kazew was the photographer while Lauren Tabach-Bank took the chair of the director. Moreover, the Morrison Group and Camerin Stoldt took care of the production and post-production, respectively.

Shawn Mendes stripped down for the magazine cover photo shoot, looking amazing in a classic pair of jeans. He also donned formal fits like a crisp white shirt paired with jeans and a red striped tie. Moreover, the singer looked chic in a gorgeous fall-worthy ensemble. For this look, he paired a black sweater with jeans and layered them with a camel-colored long coat. However, he experimented with some quirky ensembles, rocking a simple tee with a hole in it and chequered boxers that would be perfect for lounging on one’s couch.

Interview Magazine will be releasing six cover stories to celebrate its 55th anniversary. So far, only four cover stars have been revealed, including Jennifer Lopez, Anthony Edwards, North West, and most recently, Shawn Mendes. During the interview, the Canadian singer opened up to his mentor John Mayer. He talked about the pressure of being a part of the entertainment industry. Mendes also touched upon finding peace within himself and how his latest album, “Shawn,” has been his most vulnerable record yet.
