On “Unapologetically Angel,” Travis Kelce’s ex Kayla Nicole shared how online hate with her former boyfriend’s new personal life impacted her. She confessed that the hate and chaos on social media are things that she still experiences even today. Speaking to Angel Reese, the sports journalist said, “You can go to my most recent post and there will be people debating each other why I am worthless and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career.”
While Nicole claimed that she didn’t understand the purpose behind the hate, she felt it came with the level of fame that attracted the criticism against her. She continued, “It’s unfortunate because I’ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.” The journalist confessed that she doesn’t see herself getting into a public relationship anytime soon. She even revealed her decision to keep her relationship private and protect it from the public eye.
Kayla Nicole also addressed having to speak about Travis Kelce, given her career as a sports analyst. She clarified that people will have to find a way to deal with it. Nicole continued, “To think I’m not going to talk about the number 1 team in the NFL, with the best quarterback, and the best tight end, it’s like that’s going to come with the territory.”
The sports journalist addressed her current dynamic with Kelce and mentioned they maintain a cordial relationship. Nicole said she would probably “hit him with a head nod.” She claimed they come across each other in public, but they are both conscious of “the nature of his new situation.” She continued, “That there’s just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy so we just keep it moving.”
