Thanks to Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Now Enjoys Indian Food

Travis Kelce can now credit Taylor Swift for diversifying his palate. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about how his girlfriend has been introducing him to new food, especially Indian cuisine. While appreciating a few dishes, Kelce admitted to still being choosy and having a mental block for foods with a different texture. He discussed this topic with his brother, Jason Kelce, on the latest episodes of their “New Heights” podcast.

During the podcast, Travis Kelce admitted being more open to different foods because of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Speaking with his brother Jason Kelce, the football player revealed that he wasn’t into New Orleans-style food. Talking about jambalaya, he claimed to have a mental block for anything that’s “poo-y.” Meanwhile, his brother asked him if he was still at the stage where he would judge food by its color.

Later on, Jason Kelce asked the NFL player if he liked curry. To this, Travis replied, “You know I’m starting to open up to the Indian cuisine.” Jason expressed gratitude to Taylor Swift and said, “I know, my girl Tay is getting you opened up. She’s introducing new foods to you. It’s been one of the greatest things that I’ve been happy about.” Meanwhile, the “Grotesquerie” actor mentioned the Philadelphia-based restaurant Zahav, while his brother gave a shoutout to the chef.

Travis further admitted that he was still picky about the kind of food he could eat. When Jason asked his final say on curry, he said, “I’m in on, like, a light curry. The more it gets thicker and looks like a baby food or like baby s**t, then I’m out.” The two brothers agreed that Travis has a mental block on “food that looks like poop.” They also joked about how the Chiefs tight end would gladly eat Big Sky Chili as long as there was some cheese to go with it.
