Ana de Armas is all set to portray a ballerina turned into a fierce assassin in the upcoming action thriller film From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. The actor, 36, will take on the central character, Eve Macarro, in the film. This is the fifth movie installment in the popular John Wick franchise.
Armas’ character is a ballerina who undergoes training to become a skilled assassin. She follows the traditions of the Ruska Roma after Winston Scott, played by Ian McShane, takes her in. Lionsgate Movies recently dropped the official trailer for the neo-noir film. It shows Armas as Eve Macarro engaging in intense and electrifying action.

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina will debut in theaters on June 6, 2025. The newly released trailer begins with a young Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) meeting The Continental Hotel’s owner and John Wick’s friend Winston Scott (Ian McShane). With him, Macarro enters into the world of the traditional Ruska Roma training to become a fearless assassin. She is seen training hard to achieve excellent fighting skills.
After that, the trailer sees Eve Macarro visiting The Continental Hotel where the hotel’s concierge, Charon (Lance Reddick) welcomes her. There, she meets Winston Scott again. Then, the trailer displays glimpses of a few action-packed scenes featuring Macarro. It also offers viewers glimpses of the film’s thrilling quest for vengeance. At the end of the trailer, the titular character John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, mysteriously appears and meets Macarro.
Shay Hatten served as the writer of the film, while Len Wiseman directed it. Apart from Ana de Armas, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, and Keanu Reeves, the cast list of From the World of John Wick: Ballerina also includes – Anjelica Huston, Norman Reedus, Gabriel Byrne, and more.
