Halle Berry‘s recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was as fun and insightful as she discussed menopause and her backstage chat with Mike Tyson. Before arriving for her spot on the talk show, Berry conversed with the former boxing champ backstage when he asked her, “What is this menopause?” Tyson raised the question after the Oscar-winning actress and his wife started talking about the process. Halle Berry tells Jimmy Kimmel how Mike Tyson reacted to Menopause chat
Halle Berry told Kimmel during her segment on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” about her detailed menopause discussion with Mike Tyson. “Can you imagine Mike Tyson saying, like, vagina?” she told the host at first. Berry then clarified how the conversation initially began between her and Tyson’s wife, Lakiha “Kiki” Spicer, backstage before he joined in. She said, “I told her [Kiki], ‘I got you, don’t worry. When the time comes, I’m going to know everything about this topic,'” explaining she would do this for “anyone.”
Berry revealed she “didn’t have help” when she hit menopause, adding she’s “now 58 and nobody helped me.” She claimed, “I want to be the voice of the future for these women.” The “Never Let Go” actress expressed that she intends to “help them get the information they need before it hits them and they think they’re crazy.” Her response prompted an immediate cheer from the crowd as they applauded the star for wanting to do her part in it.
Returning to the subject of Mike Tyson and menopause, Halle Berry revealed he asked her, “So, what is menopause?” More specifically, he asked the actress, “It doesn’t affect your sex, does it?” to which she replied, “Well it can…,” which Jimmy Kimmel believed is a “concern.” Berry further explained that “it doesn’t have to” be a concern if one gets early “education and information.” In her way of saying it, “You can stay juicy like a peach.” She then exclaimed, “You should know ladies!”
Kimmel and Berry continued their conversation when the “Catwoman” actress talked about her previous encounters with the boxer. In fact, she considered Tyson, besides Muhammad Ali, one of the “greatest fighters of all time” and believed he “looks better than he ever has.”
