Chris Hemsworth is a man of many talents, and he has just proved that on “The Drew Barrymore Show.” The Marvel star recently appeared on Drew Barrymore‘s popular talk show, and at one point during the segment, the host brought up Hemsworth’s love for sewing. Showcasing his skills, Hemsworth even stitched Barrymore’s pants during the talk show.

Chris Hemsworth, whose new film “Transformers One” recently hit the cinemas, joined Drew Barrymore on her talk show. After the Marvel star gushed about his beloved pets, Barrymore asked about his sewing hobby. She said, “You sewed as a child. You were a fan of sewing,” as Hemsworth admitted, “A little bit.” Barrymore went on to make a little pun out of the actor’s last name, “Chris Hems-worth.” He then said the talk show host “stole” his joke.
Hemsworth recalled, “I remember doing cross-stitch class at school [and] going, ‘I love this.'” He continued, “We didn’t have any money and I was like, ‘I wanted a pair of corduroy pants.’ So my mum bought me this big sheet of corduroy material.” The “Thor” actor shared he “had a stencil to cut it and sew it.” However, he claimed, “Those pants never made it to being worn but the attempt was there.”
Barrymore then said she wanted to “see those pants” and brought her “nicest pair of sweatpants” and a sewing kit. Hemsworth asked the host what “adjustment” she needed. Barrymore showed a hole in her fancy pants, and after the actor took a quick look, he began with his craft. He said, “This is much easier. I’m glad you’re not wearing them ’cause it could be dangerous.” Hemsworth even assured Barrymore she could wear them by the end of the segment. As the host continued the conversation and talked to Hemsworth about his wife, Elsa Pataky, the actor fixed the pants in no time.
