JoJo Siwa recently graced the latest cover of LADYGUNN Magazine with an unconventional pose. The star is garnering attention after she rocked an unusual torso corset for her new fashion shoot. Earlier this year, Siwa gained popularity with her single “Karma,” ahead of the release of her EP “Guilty Pleasure.” Since then, the singer-dancer has continued to flaunt a rather edgy style. Now, Siwa seems to be continuing her “Karma” era in her new magazine cover shoot.
JoJo Siwa opts for unusual corset for Ladygunn shoot
The “hunky cover” of this month’s LADYGUNN Magazine issue shows JoJo Siwa sporting a corset featuring a bare-torso design. The shot sees the former “Dance Moms” star flexing her toned arms in a bodybuilder pose. The bedazzled breastplate that Siwa donned appears to add coverage to just the front of Siwa’s chest and mid-section while exposing the sides.
Besides the cover, the Instagram carousel included other photos from the magazine shoot. A user penned that they “love the new hair” but added that the outfit is questionable. Meanwhile, another commented, “She should’ve posted these photos instead tbh.”
The user’s remark came after the “Balance Baby” singer shared the other LADYGUNN cover on her Instagram. Siwa donned a similar breastplate and ditched the pants to wear a matching strappy thong-like plate, which covers merely the nether regions.
The post was soon flooded with comments as many were unimpressed by the look. A user wrote, “No hate, I’m honestly just confused.” However, some other fans defended her. One commented, “Y’all just hating for no reason, if anybody else did this y’all would go crazy.” Another simply penned, “This is definitely a look.”
Siwa’s latest magazine cover look is not everyone’s cup of tea. Nonetheless, the singer-dancer seems to have embraced her new edgy era with style.
