Lizzo’s Instagram Photo Dump Is a Lesson in Healing & Positivity

Lizzo is embracing a new era of change as she recently took to Instagram to write an emotional post about healing and positivity. The rapper-singer also shared a look inside her workout routine and a message on body positivity and self-love.

Lizzo has continued to deal with body-shaming comments throughout her music career. Last year, the 36-year-old singer also came under fire as she was subject to accusations of workplace harassment. Although she shut down the claims, she was hit with a lawsuit, which was put on hold earlier this year. Nonetheless, the “Good as Hell” singer has continued to focus on her healing journey since getting embroiled in the controversy.

Lizzo shares her healing journey in new photos

Lizzo took to Instagram and opened up about her healing journey. In the carousel of photos, the singer shared a photo of herself at the gym, as well as, some uplifting quotes. One of the photos read, “Saturn is going retrograde and now the people who hurt you will experience what you went through.” Another one was an “affirmation of the week” quote that highlighted choosing “repair over resentment.”

She captioned the Instagram post, “No revenge because Saturn has my back,” further thanking God during the eclipse phase. Lizzo also shared that normally she is “so scared and stressed,” but “this time I’m finding joy & comfort in honoring my feelings and healing my inner baby Lizzo.”

The “Rumors” singer then recalled that “a year ago today” she was “so broken and dark” and “couldn’t have imagined feeling the way I do now.” The rapper also shared a message for anyone going through a difficult time — “don’t allow the darkness to become you.” Lizzo continued, “Because everything that is done in the dark always comes back to the light.”

Previously, Lizzo shared a video of her workout routine. The rapper-singer opened up about embracing her body throughout the different phases. “Acceptance is a form of self love,” she wrote.
