The actress said she was almost “about to give birth” before disclosing that someone was following her and her family. She claimed to have noticed the said stranger’s car and suspected that the person was with the paparazzi.

According to E! News, Mandy Moore revealed that she was being followed by a stranger. On Monday, the actress posted an Instagram story video expressing concerns about a stranger following her and her family for the “last few days.” She said, “I’m literally about to give birth, like, any second, any day, and for the last few days, there’s been someone who has followed me—or us—in their car, everywhere.”
The “This Is Us” actress explained that she “noticed this guy flip around and follow me” while she was running errands. She claimed that the stranger ran “red lights” and “stop signs” while following her, adding, “I’m just like, ‘You’re doing way too much. I notice you. Ew.'”
Mandy Moore suspected that she and her family had been followed by a member of the paparazzi. She exclaimed, “I’m annoyed that that job still exists—like, hello, we have social media.” Frustrated and scarred by the incident, the 40-year-old added, “Who cares about people taking other people’s pictures anymore? But also, what I get annoyed by is that they think I don’t see them!”
When posting the story video, Moore explicitly mentioned she wasn’t looking to gain pity, “It’s not a ‘woe is me’ thing.” She continued, “It’s just an annoying part of the job that mostly does not exist for someone like me. I just have a real distaste for it.”
