Jason Kelce’s Chest Bump Video Shows Eagles Fan Nearly Fall Over

Former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce’s retirement game is as strong as his glory days. Kelce seems to be capitalizing on the sport as a football retiree now that ESPN has officially hired him as a “Monday Night Countdown” analyst. However, his recent appearance at the Eagles’ Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons wasn’t very fortunate for one superfan named Rob Dunphy.

A viral video shows Kelce and Dunphy doing a discomforting chest bump, following which the latter nearly falls. The incident occurred on stage when Kelce joined fans in the Lincoln Financial Field parking lot during the Philly pregame celebrations. After the risky chest bump, Dunphy nearly fell and appeared to be in excruciating pain while Kelce walked away cheering energetically.

Eagles fan hurt their knee after Jason Kelce’s chest bump

A video from the Philly pregame event went viral online showing the exact moment of Jason Kelce and Eagles superfan Rob Dunphy’s chest bump. Both men lined up in three-point stances opposite to each other before doing a chest bump at the center of the stage. Kelce walked away from there while Dunphy started to limp immediately afterward.

Philadelphia Eagles fan Rob Dunphy reportedly hurt his ACL while landing following the Jason Kelce chest bump and later confirmed the injury via Instagram. Sharing a video of the same viral moment, but from a different sideways angle, Dunphy revealed, “Yes I’m on the IR,” further claiming how “it was worth it, and I’d do it 100x again.” He shared the same video on this X (formerly Twitter) and captioned it, “Tush Push is legit.”

Despite that, this differently angled clip that someone present on-stage captured via phone highlights a somewhat contrasting perspective of the event. It shows the fan getting thrown back but landing safely on the ground after chest-bumping Jason Kelce. Dunphy then falls back into the screaming and cheering crowd who offers him support before starting to walk with difficulty.

Following the chest bump, Kelce appeared to be dancing in a different part of the stage. He was sporting a kelly-green Italian tracksuit and heavy gold chains for the event, hopping from one stage to another and greeting fans with high-fives during his fiery entrance. Kelce even claimed, “I don’t know if I have any more energy guys,” after his exhausting pregame shenanigans.
