Kate Middleton, now cancer-free, announces completion of chemotherapy in a moving health update video. Katherine, the Princess of Wales, shares details from her life-altering journey since January when she was first diagnosed with cancer. The revelation comes after the mother-of-three underwent intensive abdominal surgery.

In the new video, Kate exclaims, “what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.” She further says that her current priority is “to stay cancer free,” follow the “path to healing and full recovery is long,” and “continue to take each day as it comes.”

Kate Middleton is cancer free and looking forward to work

Kate Middleton‘s latest health update and cancer-free announcement come in the form of a hopeful and sentimental video. The Instagram post is a video diary of moments since the cancer diagnosis in January. The video comprises joyful clips of Kate, her husband, Prince William, and their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — from the last couple of months.

The Instagram post is a message from Kate with her narration and the backdrop of her family’s touching video. She says, “As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.” The mother-of-three then talks about “the last nine months” and how “incredibly tough” this time has been “for us as a family.” She adds, “Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

Kate Middleton calls her cancer journey since the diagnosis “complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.” However, she claims that “it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. Kate further discloses that these last few months have “reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted.” This comprises the art “of simply loving and being loved.”

Besides, Kate Middleton announces her focus is now “to stay cancer free” and believes her path toward “healing and full recovery is long. I must continue to take each day as it comes.” At the same time, the 42-year-old says she is “looking forward to being back at work” now that she is cancer-free. She also talks about “undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months.” According to the video, Kate plans on entering “this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life.”

Furthermore, the Princess of Wales expresses gratitude on her and William’s behalf for those who have helped them through their difficult journey. She also credits those who extended their support. “Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling,” she says. Kate concludes the video by addressing “those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light so let that light shine bright.”

Kate Middleton has come a long way since she was diagnosed with cancer in January. Reportedly, the news of her diagnosis was made public in March.
