Justin Theroux Defends Ex Jennifer Aniston’s Takedown of JD Vance

Justin Theroux recently commented on his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston’s takedown of Donald Trump’s Vice Presidential running mate, JD Vance. Theroux claimed he feels “protective” of her years after their split and still holds her “very dear” in an interview. The actor made the statement while talking about Aniston’s jab at Vance for making disrespectful remarks about “childless cat ladies.”

Justin Theroux praises Jennifer Aniston for JD Vance comment

Justin Theroux seems to be setting some things straight after promoting his latest film, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” at the Venice International Film Festival. This includes his stance on ex-wife Jennifer Aniston slamming JD Vance, the U.S. Senator from Ohio running for Vice President with presidential candidate Donald Trump. Apart from defending Aniston, Theroux also praised the “Friends” actress for the bold move.

In an interview with The Times, Justin Theroux stated that Jennifer Aniston “is still very dear to me” six years after their split. He added, “I feel protective” of the 55-year-old while also praising her for battling “back criticism, as well she should.”

Theroux’s statement comes in light of Aniston’s recent comment about JD Vance’s controversial remark from 2021 in which he called Democratic leaders “a bunch of childless cat ladies.” The Republican Vice President candidate had said the opposition politicians “are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made.”

In a bold and daring response posted on her Instagram in July, Jennifer Aniston called out Vance for making the derogatory statement. She said, “Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.”

After Aniston’s clear-cut response to his resurfaced statement, JD Vance defended his remarks during an episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show.” Vance argued that his comments were taken out of context. The politician alleged that he did not criticize women with fertility issues and only called the Democrats “anti-family.” He also vilified the actress for involving his two-year-old daughter in the argument.

Vance then noted that he “would try everything I could to try to help her” if she faced infertility issues, as he claimed to have mentioned in the speech.
