Melania ‘Can’t Even Talk About’ Donald Trump Assassination Attempt

Former U.S. President Donald Trump recently sat for an interview with Fox News host Mark Levin on his show “Life, Liberty & Levin.” During the interview, Trump opened up about how his wife, Melania Trump, and their son, Barron Trump, found out about the assassination attempt on him on July 13, 2024, in Pennsylvania.

Donald Trump revealed that his 18-year-old son was getting tennis lessons outside when someone broke the news to him. He then immediately rushed to inform his mother, Melania Trump, who witnessed the attempted assassination of her husband live on television. In the interview, Trump said while talking about his wife’s reaction to the incident, “She couldn’t believe it. She was actually watching it live, can you imagine? And then I get up, and I let people know I was OK.” He then recounted, “I let people know I was OK. But it was a hit, it was a big hit.”

Melania Trump is not ready to talk about Trump’s assassination attempt

During a recent interview with Fox News’ Mark Levin, the 45th U.S. President Donald Trump talked about how his son, Barron, and wife, Melania, learned about his attempted assassination. In a previous interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham, Trump revealed that the former First Lady is not ready to talk about the incident. As reported by the New York Post, he said, “She can’t even talk about it, which is okay because that means she likes me.”

On July 13, the former U.S. President was giving a speech near Butler, Pennsylvania, at an open-air campaign rally when he survived an attempted assassination. According to official investigators, a 20-year-old man named Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at Trump and injured his right ear in the crowded rally for the campaign. The incident took the life of one person in the audience while injuring two others. Thomas Matthew Crooks was shot dead by a Secret Service sniper at the scene.
