Zac Efron arrived looking dapper in an all-black look at the amfAR Gala on September 1 during the 81st Venice International Film Festival. The 2024 amfAR Gala was a star-studded event, and Zac Efron stepped out wearing an all-black outfit, styling it with a classic pair of black sunglasses. He looked sharp in a black suit, which he paired with a black t-shirt underneath. He completed the entire look with chic black shoes.

Zac Efron makes first public appearance after swimming pool mishap

On Monday, Zac Efron made his first public appearance at the amfAR Gala after he hurt himself in a villa’s swimming pool in Ibiza nearly a month ago. As reported by TMZ, the “Iron Claw” actor accidentally hit his chest at the pool’s bottom after he dove way too deep. Moreover, he ingested “a large amount of water into his lungs.”

Fortunately, two security guards discovered him in the swimming pool and pulled him out. The report further stated that the actor showed “signs of distress” and was “momentarily dazed” before he was rushed to a hospital. The doctors X-rayed his chest to confirm whether there was any water in his lungs. After a thorough check-up and treatment, the hospital released him. Since then, he has posted on social media and assured fans of his well-being.

At the amfAR Gala on September 1, Zac Efron interacted with “Pretty Woman” star Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva. They even posed for a photograph together, as per Page Six.

The gala is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting AIDS research, treatment education, HIV prevention, and advocacy. Other notable celebrities at the event included Antonio Banderas, Mohammed Al Turki, Kate Beckinsale, Rumer Willis, and Kelly Rowland.
