Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Rumored to End Campaign, Speculation of Who He’ll Endorse Abounds

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will allegedly end his campaign this week, and speculation is already abounding about who he’ll endorse, if anyone. It’s been a long, strange trip for RFK Jr., and the lack of funding and waning voter enthusiasm make throwing in the towel the smart move for the independent presidential hopeful.

RFK Jr. reportedly ending campaign and weighing who to endorse

According to the New York Times, RFK Jr’s campaign stated that he intends to address the future of his candidacy on Friday. Unnamed sources indicate that Kennedy is likely to endorse Republican candidate Donald Trump. However, some of Kennedy’s confidants are encouraging him to refrain from endorsing anyone.

Speaking with Fox & Friends today, Trump said he’d be honored to receive the endorsement. He then went on to praise Kennedy’s character.

If RFK Jr. ends his candidacy this week, it’ll have been an entertaining, albeit unsuccessful, attempt to capture the presidency. From claims that “a worm got into my brain and ate a portion of it and then died” to the story breaking about his placement of a dead bear cub carcass in Central Park, it’s been a wild ride. Kennedy’s flip from Democrat to Independent and now a possible alignment with Trump was not on our bingo card just a few years ago, but here we are.

The potential endorsement of Trump by Kennedy, despite his eclectic campaign antics and party shifts, would mark a significant realignment in his political trajectory. This move could influence his supporters and possibly reshape some voter dynamics in the upcoming election. As Friday approaches, all eyes will be on Kennedy’s final decision, which could have far-reaching implications for his legacy and the broader political landscape. The big question we have right now is how much of an effect his endorsement may have in a race that’s very much neck-and-neck at this point.
