Family Guy is one of those rare animated series that has gone the distance. In the style of similar adult-humor cartoonish comedies like The Simpsons, Emmy-winning Family Guy hilariously depicts the trials and tribulations of family life with all of the eccentric personalities, embarrassing mistakes, and awkward learning opportunities that involves.
At the helm of the Griffin family is dimwitted Peter and his housewife, Lois. The couple reside in the fictional Rhode Island City of Quahog and have three rugrats: teenage pariah Meg, her overweight idiot brother Chris, and precocious (yet homicidal) baby Stewie. The family is completed by their talking dog, Brian, who enjoys a good martini from time to time. Weird and wacky recurring characters round out this ridiculous world where anything can – and does – happen.
With actors Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry, and Patrick Warburton providing the voices of these unforgettable (and frankly detestable) characters, you know you’re in for a good time anytime you tune in to Family Guy.
