After a wild week of NFL playoff games, we’ve officially moved on to the divisional round. This means the two teams that had byes are joining the fracas. If you haven’t been watching, you might be wondering who is left after the first week of playoff action. The remaining NFL teams are Buffalo, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Green Bay, Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Tennessee, and San Francisco.
Some of these teams have a winning history…and others don’t. Football fans are well aware of which teams have a history of coming up clutch in the playoffs. We’re talking about the 49ers, Packers, and more recently the Buccaneers and Chiefs. Everyone else is hurting for a celebration. Some (way) more than others. That’s why we decided to rank the remaining teams based on how insane their cities would go if they won the Super Bowl. Keep scrolling to see the rankings.

8) Green Bay Packers
Sure, the Packers haven’t won a Super Bowl since 2011. But that doesn’t change the fact that Green Bay fans have had their fair share of winning over the decades. By that, we mean. Including pre-Super Bowl championships, Green Bay has won a whopping 13 titles. They don’t need one more.

7) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
While the Bucs have only won two titles, the last was last season. They’ve had more lean years than great ones, but with warm weather all-year long and their recent championship, we’re not convinced the people of Tampa would even notice another big win.

6) Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs, while one of the original NFL teams, don’t have an extensive history of winning the big game. They won three pre-merger titles, and Super Bowls in 1969 and 2019. They’re lucky to have an explosively talented team every year. Let someone else have it this year.

5) Los Angeles Rams
The Rams won the Super Bowl in 2000 when they were in St. Louis. That’s a long time ago and many of their fans likely didn’t even follow the team then. A Super Bowl would be big for this team, but we’re not sure most people in Los Angeles would even notice because it has nothing to do with LeBron James.

4) San Francisco 49ers
While we mentioned the prowess of the Packers, it should be noted that the 49ers spent years as one of the most dominant teams in the league. Sadly, that was the 80s and 90s when they won five Super Bowls. That was a long time ago and the city would be pretty excited to get a glimpse of days like those.

3) Tennessee Titans
It feels like the Titans are always pretty good, but they’ve never won a Super Bowl. They lost the Super Bowl in 2000 to the Rams by inches. Literally inches. If Kevin Dyson’s arm was just a little longer, they would have won instead of losing 23-16. They’d be pretty stoked to finally get rid of that horrible memory.

2) Cincinnati Bengals
Like Tennessee, the Bengals have never won a Super Bowl. They lost Super Bowls in 1981 and 1988, both to the 49ers. They haven’t been back since. Also, prior to beating the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wildcard round, the Bengals hadn’t won a playoff game since 1990. The city might implode if they win it all.

1) Buffalo Bills
No fan base deserves a Super Bowl win more than Bills Mafia and it’s not even close. Buffalo lost four consecutive Super Bowls and, besides the last second missed field goal in the first one, none of the games were even close. Bills fans sat through a 17-year playoff drought while parading out a list of quarterbacks that included Trent Edwards, JP Losman, Nathan Peterman, Rob Johnson, and Todd Collins. The party might be rowdy enough that people in Toronto will complain about the noise.
