Jonah Hill Has Spot-On Nickname For Vape Pens, And It’s All You Need to Quit Immediately

Jonah Hill is arguably one of Hollywood’s most recognizable actors. Although the actor’s career took off with raunchy comedies such as Superbad, he quickly began taking on more dramatic roles. In recent years, Hill has shown talent as a writer/director. He even started his own production company, Strong Baby Productions, proving that Jonah Hill can do just about anything. Back in August of last year, Hill sat down with GQ for an extended interview, giving his thoughts on a variety of issues – including his spot-on nickname for vape pens.

While the actor admits to living a crazy lifestyle in his 20s, he has certainly grown up in the past few years. In the interview, Hill explained, “All my 20s, I wasn’t really looking inward. I was just running toward success. Or trying to find success. And when I was 30, I was like, I’ve always wanted to be a director, but if I don’t get off this train now and write Mid90s, I’m not going to do it. And I hit pause. I took three or four years to reshape things.”

During the interview, he also called social media platforms “the cigarettes of this time,” while smoking a cigarette. The actor stated, “It is the killer. It is death.” It’s easy to see why Hill used that particular metaphor. Nevertheless, the highly ironic nature of his comments is honestly beyond us. When questioned if he has tried vaping, Hill retorted that he thinks vaping is stupid, calling them “mouth fedoras.”

Jonah Hill may be an eclectic personality. But at the very least, “mouth fedoras” would make a great tagline for an anti-smoking campaign. We’ll allow it.
