Q: Who is quickly approaching pop culture irrelevancy? A: Machine Gun Kelly. The 31-year-old musical artist was recently featured on the long-running game show Jeopardy! and none of the three super-smart contestants had the faintest idea who he was…even when they were shown his picture.
The category was “MUSICAL 3-INITIALers” for $800 and the clue was: “The stage name of this rapper and actor gets shortened to MGK.” A photo of the tattooed blondie otherwise known as Colson Baker then popped up on the screen. But returning champ Amy Schneider, along with competitors Donna Lettow and Ashley Castle, all let the buzzer sound as they were unable to identify the dude.

Eventually, host Ken Jennings enlightened the ladies that MGK stood for “Machine Gun Kelly, apparently.” (Also not a fan, it seems.)
Twitter users had some hilarious thoughts to throw in the mix, mainly that we all should be so lucky not to know those notorious initials.

Maybe if the clue had been, “Megan Fox’s disgusting boyfriend who got snubbed by the Grammys,” the contestants might’ve had a better shot.
