There’s a lot to envy on HBO’s family drama Succession, from the Roy family’s power to their wealth to their living spaces. Now, you can have one of those things for your very own…if you have $23 million sitting around burning a hole in your pocket.
That’s because a penthouse from season three of the binge-able TV show is on the market. You may have noticed that Kendall Roy’s ex-wife, Rava, has quite the digs. (We’d like to know who the divorce lawyer was that got her that pad in the settlement.)
In reality, what you’re seeing onscreen is the 29th-floor condominium (known as Pavilion A) in Tribeca’s Woolworth Tower Residences. It’s the second-largest unit in the historic New York building that offers panoramic views of the city skyline as well as the East and Hudson Rivers.
Boasting 6,700 square feet, the penthouse has five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half baths. The duplex terrace alone is over 2,700 square feet – basically a home away from home in and of itself. Check it out:
“It’s more akin to a countryside mansion than a city residence and has elements that give it a loft feel,” Stan Ponte of Sotheby’s International Realty says. “You can entertain 200 people in here comfortably.”
Architect Thierry W. Despont is the man behind this domestic masterpiece. You might know him from other projects like, oh, the restoration of the freakin’ Statue of Liberty and the renovation of The Ritz in Paris. His bespoke fingerprints are all over the place, from the black spiral staircase in the great room to the 22-foot-high ceilings.
An abode like this is definitely worth “Shiv”ing someone for…or marrying an egotistical asshole as insufferable as Kendall Roy.
