They say being able to laugh at your own flaws is a sign of maturity. If that’s true, then celebrity couple Tom Holland and Zendaya are among the most mature famous people in Hollywood, despite only being 25 years old.
The Spider-Man stars and young lovebirds recently joked about their noticeable height difference on The Graham Norton Show.
“There’s a particular stunt where Spider-Man swings us on top of a bridge and he places me there,” Zendaya explained. “Because of our height difference…we were attached, so I would land before him. My feet obviously hit the ground before he does.”
“I’m the superhero. I’m supposed to look cool,” Holland added. “She would land, and then I would sort of land like this, and then my feet would swing from underneath me, and she would catch me.”
The couple recreated the move for the audience’s amusement.
Talk about a role reversal!
“You were like, ‘Oh my gosh, thank you’,” Zendaya quipped about Holland’s good humor surrounding the stunt.
“It’s so nice to be caught for a change,” he chuckled.
Most celebrity couples – especially the wildly sexualized ones like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker – make us want to hurl, but these two are definitely going in the coupledom #goals category. Perhaps their ability to endear us to them is their combined superpower? Let’s hope their relationship, um, sticks.
