Athletes like to celebrate their victories, and we can’t blame them. In fact, we enjoy watching their celebratory dances after scoring an epic touchdown or shooting a 3-pointer with no net in the final seconds of the game. But LeBron James has an “obscene” way of rejoicing in his basketball skills, and now it’s going to cost him – to the whopping tune of $15,000.
That’s because the baller was so, um, excited about the Lakers victory over the Pacers in Indiana last week that he grabbed his crotch in a blatant display of masculinity in full-on view of sports fans.

The shock jock move isn’t even unique to James – it’s been credited to Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach Sam Cassell – but The L-Train is the one paying for it.
“Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has been fined $15,000 for making an obscene gesture on the playing court and warned for using profane language during media availability in response to league imposed discipline, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations,” the NBA said in a statement.
This isn’t the first time the sports star has been called out for bad behavior. James was suspended for the first time recently after an on-court altercation with the Detroit Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart. He then received a warning about profanity after calling the suspension “bullshit” during a press conference.
While we’re thoroughly entertained by this feisty new version of King James, we’d hate to see him lose any more court time because of his big dick energy. Save the gratuitous crotch grabs for the locker room, LeBron. We’d rather see you playing ball than playing with your balls.
